i have been thinking.
what if the earth really IS getting warmer?
what if climate change really is coming?
not in my lifetime, maybe, but eventually?
what if the poles melt?
what if the permafrost in the north softens?
what if the sea levels rise?
what if florida becomes an island, hawaii disappears, the coasts erode until no one who lives there now can stay and the beaches we love to lay on are replaced with short, muddy, places the ever-increasing ocean crashes into the skyscrapers of san francisco and miami, new york and seattle?
what will we do?
